Summary: HomePro collects only the information needed to connect homeowners with service providers, process payments, and deliver AI-powered design tools. We never sell your personal data to third parties.

1. Who We Are

HomePro ("we," "us," or "our") is a SaaS platform operated at www.home.design that connects homeowners with home renovation service providers. Our registered contact email is support@homepro.app.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you register, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and role (homeowner or service provider). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile photo from Google.

2.2 Project & Property Data

Homeowners may provide property address, square footage, renovation scope, photos, and videos. Service providers may provide business name, license number, service area, and portfolio media.

2.3 Financial Information

Payment details are processed by Stripe and never stored on our servers. We retain records of transaction amounts, dates, and status for billing and dispute resolution.

2.4 Media & Files

Photos and videos you upload may be stored in Google Drive or YouTube using your Google account's OAuth token. We store only the file identifiers and metadata — not the file content itself.

2.5 AI-Generated Content

Design prompts you submit to our AI Studio (powered by OpenAI DALL-E and Fal AI Hyper3D Rodin) are transmitted to those providers and may be retained per their respective policies. Generated images and 3D models are cached in our database linked to your account.

2.6 Communications

Messages sent through the HomePro platform are stored to provide conversation history. SMS notifications are delivered via Twilio and we retain the content and delivery status.

2.7 Usage Data

We automatically collect standard log data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This data is used for security, analytics, and improving the platform.

3. Google OAuth & Data Access

When you authenticate with Google, we request the following OAuth scopes:

  • openid, email, profile — to identify your account
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file — to upload project photos/videos to your Google Drive on your behalf
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload — to upload project videos to your YouTube channel on your behalf

We access your Google Drive and YouTube only when you explicitly initiate an upload in the platform. We do not read, modify, or delete files we did not create. You can revoke access at any time via your Google Account permissions page.

  • Create and manage your account and profile
  • Match homeowners with service providers in their area
  • Process payments and manage lead fees ($100/project) and seat subscriptions ($50/seat/month)
  • Send transactional communications (invitations, confirmations, receipts)
  • Power AI design and 3D generation features
  • Generate cost estimates and renovation plans
  • Provide customer support and resolve disputes
  • Detect fraud and ensure platform security
  • Comply with legal obligations

5. How We Share Your Information

5.1 With Service Providers You Invite

When a homeowner shares a project with a service provider (after the provider pays the $100 lead fee), that provider gains access to the project details, contact information, and shared media.

5.2 With Third-Party Services

We share data with the following partners to operate the platform:

  • Supabase — database and authentication hosting
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Twilio — SMS notifications
  • OpenAI — AI design generation
  • Fal AI — 3D model generation
  • DocuSign — digital contract execution
  • Google — OAuth authentication, Drive, and YouTube storage
  • AWS — cloud infrastructure and media storage

Each partner processes data under their own privacy policies and applicable agreements.

5.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of HomePro, our users, or the public.

5.4 Business Transfers

If HomePro is acquired or merges with another company, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data is subject to a materially different privacy policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Project data, messages, and media references are retained for 7 years for business and legal compliance. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing support@homepro.app. Deleted data is purged within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format
  • Objection: Object to processing of your data for marketing purposes
  • Withdrawal of Consent: Withdraw consent (including Google OAuth access) at any time

8. Cookies & Tracking

We use strictly necessary cookies for session management and authentication. We do not use advertising cookies or sell your browsing data to advertisers. Analytics may use anonymized, aggregated data only. You can clear cookies via your browser settings at any time.

9. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, row-level security on all database tables, and regular security audits. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it to security@homepro.app.

10. Children's Privacy

HomePro is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will promptly delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by a prominent notice on the platform at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of HomePro after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
